Vacumet Adds New Addition to BARRIER-MET® Family
VACUMET’s Award-Winning BARRIER-MET® family of branded metallized barrier films has been further enhanced with the recent additions of the ULTRA BARRIER-MET® and ULTRA BARRIER-MET® 3.5 polyester films.
ULTRA BARRIER-MET® and ULTRA BARRIER-MET® 3.5 polyester were developed using a combination of: special metal density, superior base film, and a unique, proprietary metallizing process. This has resulted in the following superior barrier properties at costs similar to that of standard packaging grade metallized PET:

ULTRA BARRIER-MET® and ULTRA BARRIER-MET® 3.5 polyester are strong flexible packaging films that have excellent dimensional stability, durability and flexibility over a wide range of temperatures. They possess good chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and offer superior performance at high processing speeds.
ULTRA BARRIER-MET® and ULTRA BARRIER-MET® 3.5 polyester were developed specifically for High Barrier & Foil replacement applications. This includes applications where superior barrier properties are required to be over and above standard packaging grade metallized polyester.
